Do We Really Listen To His Voice?

We persistently pray. We ask God for His provision. We talk to Him. But do we really know that He’s already responding?

God has been so good to me. I learned how to control my emotion on how I should react to some uncontrollable situations. I used to quickly react to an issue without verifying it. Positive or negative feedback leads me to find justification. The only good thing is I humbly admit when I am really wrong. I sometimes keep quiet when I have demands. I am more transparent when I am happy.

When I pray for a solution to a problem, God responds. It can be as quick as before I pray, it is already granted. I think He responds sooner than we expect because what He sees in our hearts is the most important source of consequence. We might not know what will occur but when God sees the heart, the good consequence will happen even before we act.

Listening to His voice is giving yourself a clue that you really have a personal relationship with Him. How personal is personal as a personal question. 🙂 If God responds in a different manner, it is a matter of understanding and hearing that it is His answer to our questions and to our problems. Sometimes we think it is not. Sometimes we think it will come according to how we want it to.

How do we listen to His voice? Probably it is how we respond and how we understand what comes into our hearts.
