After reading this link about “What your email address says about your computer skills”, I thought of making my own version — What your email address says about YOU!
own domain = personal branding; virtual narcissistic; proud of his/her organization
@gmail.com = most likely to use google chat (and invisible in YM); deleting emails is an option; secretive but stupid to know that google keeps his/her secrets
@hotmail.com = afraid to create a gmail account; what’s a domain?; confident and not worried that gmail friends will laugh at him/her
@yahoo.com = most likely to use YM (don’t know google chat exists); still believe in yahoogroups; flickr users
@aol.com = same as the link; surprised to know that there’s such thing as wifi
If I may add:
@mac.com – the original/old owners of @me.com; still desperately believe that their friends and buddies will use iChat; ignore to be crazy paying USD100.00+ per year (and I am one of them); stupid believers of email exclusivity
