Coldplay in Singapore – A Head Full Of Dreams

Went to Singapore with my brother to watch Coldplay…
March 31, 2017. It’s Coldplay’s first concert this year, as mentioned by Chris Martin…
I had to stand and fall in line for 2 hours until the gate opened at 6:00 PM…
LED wristbands and love pins were given right after the bag inspection…
We got the best spot at the jam-packed free standing of Pen A front of the stage…
An Australian singer Jess Kent as front act for 30 minutes…
During the 30-minute break is the usual line check again and 4 spotters hanging fronting the audience (that is unusual)…
The confetti and balloons concept is not new to me as it was like our church convergence events in Araneta Coliseum more than 10 years ago…
Amazing Grace was played (surprisingly in Singapore) while the lights and LED wrist bands were off…
Muhammad Ali on the screen…
Every visual connects to every song…
The stage is simple but the lights are magnificent…
I lost counting the number of array speakers (FOH, side file, delay, etc.) after 86…
The audio may be one of the best that I have heard…
I have seen U2 360 in Sydney and Coldplay in Singapore has a different identity, personality and performance. Must not compare the two…
Overall, it’s the Coldplay music that let the people sing, dance, jump and shout…
It’s a 2-hour worthwhile concert. It’s one of the best…I believe it is now Coldplay generation…
