Forget the IFE when you can check your Facebook and Twitter at 30,000 feet

“I hope you enjoyed flying with us. My name is John from Virgin America. If you didn’t, my name is Danny from Pan Am.”

I forgot the names our pilot said when we touched down La Guardia Airport in New York. But I won’t forget the humor that I and the 2 British guys on the next seats laughed out loud at. Virgin America is the coolest domestic airline! I have been flying with them since 2008. Its prominent interior and in-flight entertainment are one of the best, if not the best. What I enjoyed most during my last trip from Las Vegas to New York is its Internet access at 30,000 ft. That’s flabbergasting!

I almost forgot there’s an in-flight entertainment system when I was already gratified with checking and updating my Facebook and Twitter using my iPhone. I was also able to do YMing and Skyping while charging my phone under the seat.

While I like Richard Branson’s passion for the earth, the way Virgin America’s reinventing the airline service is so cool I even noticed the cartoon-comic flight safety instructions.
